Jordan Benedict

JordanJordan Benedict is the Spirit Programs Coordinator at Tennessee Tech University. In this role she oversees the entire spirit program at Tech, serving as the administrative contact and Head Coach of the Coed Cheerleading Squad, Dance Team, and Mascot Team.


Prior to arriving at Tech, Jordan was the Head Cheerleading Coach of the Cherry Squad at Temple University. At Temple, she coached the All-Girl squad which cheered for Temple’s football team, and also was the competitive squad. Before Temple, Jordan served
as the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Kutztown University. Jordan has also served as a cheerleading coach at Central Bucks East High School, Holicong Middle School and has spent several years working as an instructor for the Universal Cheerleader’s Association (UCA).


Jordan is a graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Sports Management. At KU she cheered on the Golden Bears for four years, and served as Captain of the squad for two of those years. During Jordan’s time at KU the squad had great success on the National stage earning fourth, sixth, fourth, and seventh place finishes at the UCA College National Cheerleading Championship (broadcast on ESPN). Following graduation Jordan worked at Walt Disney World serving as an attractions intern at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. She also served as the Spring Training intern for the Atlanta Braves at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports in Disney World.


Jordan is set to graduate from Drexel University in September 2015 with her Masters in Sports Management. Currently, she resides in Cookeville, Tennessee (about the halfway point between Knoxville and Nashville). Originally she is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
