Donna Duffy

Dr. Duffy earned her Ph.D. from UNC Greensboro in 2007.  Prior to coming to UNC Greensboro to pursue her doctoral studies, Dr. Duffy earned her B.S. (1996) and Ed.M. (1999) from the School of Education at Boston University. A native of Maine, Dr. Duffy grew up playing ice hockey, field hockey and baseball.  Dr. Duffy began coaching high school field hockey in Wayland, MA in 1996.  After moving to Greensboro, in 1999, Dr. Duffy continued her coaching career with the Greensboro Day School varsity field hockey team and she just completed her 12th season with the Bengals.
Dr. Duffy has also coached a wide variety of youth sports including swimming, soccer, softball, baseball and field hockey.
Dr. Duffy is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at UNC Greensboro where she is the Program Director for Coaching Education and also the Program Director of the Program for the Advancement of Girls and Women in Sport and Physical Activity.
