Dawn Redd

Dawn Redd has coached at Beloit College for five years.  In that time, she has earned conference Coach of the Year honors as well as an NCAA Tournament berth.

Redd is the author of coachdawnwrites.com, a blog devoted to sharing with other coaches. The blog is for coaches at all levels who are interested in building successfulteams, motivating their athletes, and discussing the intangibles of coaching. Topics covered include: leadership, team chemistry, female athletes, goal setting, and coaching philosophy.

Redd’s work has been published in NCAA Champion and Athletic Management magazines and she is a featured writer for Women Talk Sports and Coach and Athletic Director websites. Additionally, she has written an ebook, Coach Dawn’s Guide To Motivating Female Athletes.  Redd is a graduate of the Women Coaches Academy and a member of the Board of Coaches for the Alliance of Women Coaches.

After playing volleyball at the University of Wisconsin, Redd has coached at the high school, club, Division I and III levels.
